Coordinated Exterior Installations

uPVC and Composite Doors in Edenbridge

Front, back, French and patio doors supplied and fitted by trusted colleagues.

Coordinated service. This work is carried out by trusted professional colleagues from Rob's network, not by the One Stop Build team directly. Rob is your point of contact and can coordinate it with any other work on your property.

A new external door improves security, keeps draughts out and changes how a house looks from the street. Patio and French doors can also open a room up to the garden.

One Stop Build & Landscaping arranges external doors through professional installers Rob works with. If you are also having a patio, porch or internal alterations, Rob can coordinate the timing so everything fits together.

How coordinated work is delivered

This service is carried out by trusted professional colleagues from Rob's network rather than by the One Stop Build team directly. Rob is your first point of contact: he discusses what you need, introduces the right specialist, and can coordinate their visit around any building or landscaping work he is doing for you.

Quotations, product guarantees and any certification for the installation are provided by the specialist who carries out the work. Ask them for details of registrations and guarantees before you go ahead.

Door types

  • Composite front and back doors
  • uPVC entrance and back doors
  • French doors
  • Sliding patio doors
  • Bifold doors, often in aluminium

Linking doors to the garden

New patio or French doors often lead onto a new terrace. Rob can build the patio and threshold area with the right levels and drainage, while the doors are fitted by the installer, so the inside and outside meet properly.

uPVC & Composite Doors questions

Do you fit doors yourselves?

External uPVC and composite doors are fitted by professional colleagues in Rob's network. Rob coordinates the introduction and timing.

What is the difference between uPVC and composite doors?

Composite doors combine materials, often with a solid core and a GRP skin, giving a heavier, timber-like door. uPVC doors are typically lighter and lower cost. The installer can explain the options.

Do new external doors need building regulations approval?

Replacement external doors with significant glazing must meet energy and safety requirements, usually self-certified by a registered installer.

Can a patio be built to meet new French doors?

Yes. Rob can build the patio with suitable levels and drainage at the threshold, coordinated with the door installation.

Are composite doors secure?

Many come with multi-point locking and security-tested cylinders. Ask the installer about the security standards of the doors offered.

Can I choose colours?

Yes. Many colours, glass designs and hardware finishes are available.

Can the opening size be changed?

Widening an opening, for example for French doors, is structural building work that may need a lintel and building regulations approval. Rob can carry out this part.

Will the plaster around the door be damaged?

Some making good may be needed. Rob can discuss repairs as part of related work.

Who provides the guarantee?

The installer who supplies and fits the door provides product and installation guarantees.
