Coordinated Exterior Installations

Guttering Replacement in Edenbridge

New gutters and downpipes to carry rainwater safely away, fitted by trusted colleagues.

Coordinated service. This work is carried out by trusted professional colleagues from Rob's network, not by the One Stop Build team directly. Rob is your point of contact and can coordinate it with any other work on your property.

Gutters and downpipes protect walls, foundations and paving by carrying rainwater away from the house. Leaking joints, sagging runs and blocked outlets can lead to damp walls and erosion at ground level.

One Stop Build & Landscaping coordinates guttering through roofline specialists in Rob's network. Where downpipes discharge onto paving or need new drainage at ground level, Rob can carry out that groundwork directly.

How coordinated work is delivered

This service is carried out by trusted professional colleagues from Rob's network rather than by the One Stop Build team directly. Rob is your first point of contact: he discusses what you need, introduces the right specialist and can coordinate their visit around any building or landscaping work he is doing for you.

Quotations, product guarantees and any certification are provided by the specialist who carries out the work. Ask them for details before you go ahead.

Connecting to ground drainage

Downpipes should discharge into a drain, water butt or soakaway rather than onto paths or against walls. Rob can lay new gullies, channels or soakaways as part of patio, paving or driveway work so rainwater from new gutters has somewhere to go.

Access and safety

Roofline work is carried out at height. The installer will arrange suitable access such as scaffold or towers depending on the height and layout of the property. Ask about access arrangements when you receive their quotation.

Guttering questions

Do you replace guttering yourselves?

Gutter replacement is carried out by roofline specialists in Rob's network. Rob can carry out related ground drainage work directly.

Why are my gutters overflowing?

Usually blockages from leaves or moss, sagging sections, or gutters too small for the roof area. The installer can inspect and advise.

Should gutters be repaired or replaced?

Minor leaks at joints may be repairable. Old, brittle or sagging systems are often better replaced.

What gutter materials are available?

uPVC is the most common. Cast iron, aluminium and other materials suit certain properties. The installer can explain choices.

Where should downpipes discharge?

Into a drain, soakaway or water butt, not against walls or across paths. Rob can install ground-level drainage if needed.

How often should gutters be cleaned?

At least once a year, more often near trees, usually after autumn leaf fall.

Can leaking gutters cause damp?

Yes. Water running down walls can cause damp patches inside and damage brickwork and pointing.

Can gutters be done with fascias and soffits?

Yes, and it is often the most efficient approach as access equipment is shared.

Who guarantees the guttering?

The installer provides any guarantee on their work. Rob is responsible for any groundwork he carries out.

How do I start?
